Through her own global relocations, Gretchen Abi Daher, Founder and CEO of Making Your Dreams a Reality (MYDAR), experienced firsthand the uncertainty, stress, and endless questions that come with starting over in a new country. Each move required navigating unfamiliar systems, cultures, and communities—often without a reliable point of reference.
Over time, Gretchen realized something important: moving does not have to be overwhelming when you have the right go-to network.
Across countries and continents, she intentionally built trusted relationships with real estate agents, immigration attorneys, school administrators, relocation specialists, and community “mom tribes.” These connections became essential to daily life and long-term success abroad.
What began as a personal survival strategy evolved into a professional solution for others.
That solution became Making Your Dreams a Reality (MYDAR).

Meet Our Founder
Gretchen Abi Daher is a licensed real estate agent in the United States currently living abroad in Germany, serving clients across the USA, Germany, and Spain. She holds a degree in Public Relations from Florida International University and brings more than 25 years of experience across communications and real estate.
Throughout her career, Gretchen has held multiple board positions with diverse community organizations and is known as a vocal advocate and trusted community leader. Her passion lies in helping people navigate change with confidence and clarity.
With a strong presence in both U.S. and European real estate markets, Gretchen specializes in guiding clients through seamless relocations—whether across the country or across the globe. Having lived in multiple regions around the world, she proudly embraces her personal motto:
“Live where others vacation.”
